Community Feedback

Richard O'Neill- Storyteller, Author and Playwright:

"It's now two years since I first started delivering inputs for children and staff and I have been able to reflect on the many positive changes I've seen and experienced over that period.

For me most importantly is the fact that the children are not only happier but they are much more engaged in and on their learning. I know this has taken a huge amount of work by you and your leadership team.

I visit a large number of schools across the country and as such have a broad and current experience on what works for children and their parents and carers. It's been an absolute pleasure to watch the upward and positive trajectory of Alder tree under your leadership."

STEM Power Event:

“Many congratulations to your teams both in the club and at the schools. The event was really enjoyable and I think went extremely well.

“All the girls were engaged and were really well behaved and respectful and are a credit to their schools and to themselves. Please pass on my congratulations to all involved.

“Thank you so much for allowing me to take part in it and thank you for the excellent lunch.”

School Visit:

“The front of the school and the signage are impressive and I imagine have made a really positive difference to the local community’s perspective of the school. New doors, internal signage, lighting, ceilings and the like have really enhanced the environment for the children.

“I particularly enjoyed visiting the classrooms where the children were happy, well-behaved and engaged in their learning. They all looked very smart in their new uniforms too.

“The staff seem really enthusiastic – it was good to meet Nina’s mentor in EYFS and I can also see the strong professional relationship you have developed with your deputy. Thank you for sharing the rest of your plans with me, especially the wellbeing area for children.”

Parental Feedback:

"The children have settled in well into their respective classes and we want to thank the Alder Tree staff for their patience and tireless effort in settling them into the new environment."

“It is clear how much the teacher’s care for the children and not only the teachers and staff working directly with the children but how everyone cares as a whole school approach. You are all like a big family to the children.”

"“This school has a caring and warm feeling, this is a place that my children want to come back to. Alder Tree is run like a community."

Chapel Allerton Lights:

''On behalf of everyone at Chapel Allerton lights, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for attending the event this year with your school choir.

You all did a great job, and the choir were fantastic. It was lovely to see the young people – they were so excited, and I hope they enjoyed performing. Please pass on our thanks to all involved.''
